Sue Schopp, Publicity and Marketing Specialist for Museums & Cultural-Commerce Professionals

Sue Schopp is a copywriter and marketing consultant based in the Boston area. Initially an art historian, she later became a museum professional and has worked in art and history museums in both the United States and Europe.

She is a member of Arlington Entrepreneurs, Women in Business Connection (WIBC), the American Association of Museums (AAM), the Museum Store Association (MSA) and the New England Museum Association (NEMA). She is also co-chair of NEMA’s Membership, Development, PR & Marketing Professional Affinity Group.

She holds graduate degrees in art history and museum studies. In her spare time, she volunteers at the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, Massachusetts, and is a member of the volunteer crew of the reproduction East India ship Friendship of Salem. She is fluent in French.
